Three courses are available – the Kids Course for the age group of 5 to 10 with 22 crossings and two zip lines. Then there’s the Junior Course for older kids with more challenges, and then finally, the Grand Course for teenagers. You’ll be fully harnessed and given a safety briefing before you’re ready for the obstacle course. You can swing this way and that on the obstacle course while hanging from your harness, giving the obstacles on the way a clear miss if you want to pass the course. Participants are required to be at least 4 foot 9 inches tall for the Grand Course. Adult supervision is not required, which is a fun fact for kids. However, those under 18 not accompanied by their parents must obtain written parental permission first. Your little ones will be excited to catch their favorite cartoon characters up close, including the cast from Madagascar and the Minions. Older kids will adore the Sci-Fi – Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON™, the world’s tallest dueling roller coaster. All in all, the Universal Studios are an extravagant spread of the tastiest treats as far as adventures go. There’s fun for the entire family to enjoy at Universal, not just for children, so it’s a good idea to add Universal Studios to your family packages to Singapore.

3. Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay are a magnificent amalgamation of manmade and natural gardens spread out across Marina Bay. The park is otherworldly in nature, especially at nightfall when all the trees are lit, both the manmade Supertrees and the natural ones. The famous Supertrees are made of steel and concrete and are connected to one another through an impressive skywalk that takes you over the gardens. The Gardens by the Bay also has huge seashell-shaped greenhouses where chilly mountain climates are faithfully recreated. In these greenhouses, you can encounter hundreds of trees and plants that usually survive only in cooler climes. The Gardens by the Bay authorities charge a fee for climbing the Supertree and walking around in the climate-controlled observatories, but otherwise, the rest is free and you can enjoy this splendid place with your family to the fullest extent.  Have you added Gardens by the Bay to your list of Singapore family packages inclusions yet?

4. Singapore Night Safari

The Singapore Night Safari is located right next to the ginormous Singapore Zoo. You can sign up for the tram safari, which will take you to seven individual climate-controlled zones that represent a range of habitats from the Himalayan foothills to the Serengeti plains. In each of these climate-controlled zones, you’ll come face to face with nocturnal creatures belonging to those specific areas. During the Night Safari, you’ll have the privilege of meeting thousands of animals from Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas, all housed in their own natural habitats. The dangerous animals are housed behind bars while the calm ones are allowed to roam around free, such as kangaroos. There are foot trails for those who’d like to take a foot-safari and check out the animals up close as well. After your exciting night safari, don’t forget to sign up for a breakfast with the orangutan experience. It’s an amazing thing – feeding the orangutans and eating breakfast with them – a fitting end to one of the top family-friendly experiences in Singapore
